The Nike Air Max 180 “Ultramarine 2024” is the modern reissue of the original colorway of the classic performance shoe from the early 1990s. Originally released in 1991 and designed by legendary Nike footwear designers Tinker Hatfield and Bruce Kilgore, the Air Max 180 was the first-ever Air Max shoe to have a 180-degree Air unit. The “Ultramarine” colorway was one of the first styles released for the Air Max 180 back in the day. On the modern version of the colorway, the shoe features an all-white upper made from a combination of mesh, suede, and leather. Contrasting Vivid Solar and Ultramarine accenting add bursts of color to the design. Classic “180” and “Nike Air” detailing on the tongue and heel, respectively, nod to the original look of the sneaker. As mentioned above, the shoe has a 180-degree visible Air unit in the heel.
